     Using the sky chart generated by Heavens Above, you are able to locate the planet Venus in your telescope:

It is hard to see any details of Venus, which is shrouded in a thick atmosphere anyway. However, one can see the phase. By observing phases, Galileo was able to determine that Venus orbited the Sun rather than the Earth.
