The sixth book of Chronicles, called

Atom

Blessèd be the atom.

Chapter I: The Atom Was Conceived By Man81

And in the fifth century BC, the Greek philosopher Leucippus of Miletus created the concept of a tiny basic building block of matter. And in the year four-hundred-thirty-one BC, his disciple, Democritus of Abdera, named it atomos, which means "indivisible."
And twenty-two-hundred years thereafter, in the early nineteenth century, did Joseph-Louis Proust, John Dalton, Amedeo Avogadro, Joseph-Louis Gay-Lussac and others sense the presence of the atom. And through them, the scientific basis of the atom was established.
And one-hundred-fifty years thereafter, in the late twentieth century, man saw the atom with electron microscopes. And the "invisible" was seen – it seemed to be a miracle.
